My Story
London based DJ, specialising in Dutch/UK Millennium Hardcore, Industrial, Terror, Speedcore, Doom, Dubstep, Drum n Bass and Freeform, dropping on both vinyl or digital.
Co-founder of Hardcore London.
Resident for Hardcore London and currently the Lockdown Online Teknival.
Dani grew up listening to extreme Metal, Hip-Hop and taking an unnoticed interest in electronic styles, until introduced to hardcore music in 2001 with Ultraviolence's track Hardcore Mo********er. He quickly found Speedcore and artists like Noisekick, Berzerker and the Industrial Strength Records compilation CDs and moved on to the Dutch Hardcore scene, becoming obsessed with the hard kick, dark mood and aggressive sound.
Started DJing in Nottingham, strictly on vinyl in 2003, playing Uk Hardcore, Freeform, Dutch Hardcore, Frenchcore, Hard Tekno and Hardstep/Skullstep dnb, at free parties for Hot Point Sound System, Urban Decay and Riggor Mortis, as well as various nights dotted around the city.
Started raving around the same time, attending HTID, Uproar, Raverbaby and other nights at least twice a month around the north and midlands. Spending all night in the techno room, regularly seeing Scorpio, Producer, Vortex and various big names from Europe.
At the start of 2017, having moved back to London a couple of years before and not been DJing for a few years due to refusing to go digital, “I found a pair of CDJ200’s in the bins out the back of my flat and took it as a sign I needed to get back on it”.
Over the next few years Problem Frequency could be found on lineups around the country for brands such as Fractal, Chapel Of Chaos, Rehab, London Sounds, Xtreme etc and has supported some of the biggest names in the UK scene.
Notable moments, playing B2B with Rob Da Rhythm and Insanity, and dropping Frenchcore at 240BPM in Ministry Of Sound.
