According to Dr Rhonda Patrick’s article FoundMyFitness, Zinc is effective in fighting bacteria that causes pneumonia, meningitis, and other serious infectious diseases. As we all know, Covid-19 is a pneumonia-like type of disease and eating foods that are rich in zinc may help reduce the severity and duration of pneumonia in children and adults.

Plant-based foods that are typically high in zinc are:
H**p seeds
Lentils
Firm Tofu
Cashew nuts
Shiitake mushrooms

Thinking of an easy smoothie breakfast to start your day? :D
This recipe is perfect for a fitness enthusiast. You just need a few ingredients to make this one, and using our Sprout powered PROTEIN + IRON is a great choice. The protein per serving is equivalent to 0.7 cups of cooked quinoa just from our PROTEIN+IRON alone!

What you will need:
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/4 cup oats
3 tbsp Sproutd PROTEIN + IRON cup
1/2 tsp ginger powder
300 ml oat milk

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
2. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
