Get Set Boogie

Welcome to Get, Set, Boogie!

Get, Set, Boogie is a new and exciting toddler and preschool group run by Ros Bhattacharya. Ros is a mum of a very busy three year old and has spent the first few years of her daughter’s life attending numerous baby and toddler groups. Her background is teaching, focusing on Dance and Drama, so whilst watching many of the groups with her daughter, she felt inspired to begin her own.

Based in Southgate, North London, Ros runs Get, Set, Boogie in the small hall at St Andrew’s Church (by ASDA) on Thursday mornings at 10.15am. It is a thirty minute class where children can either watch the singing and dancing or join in at their own free will. Ros hopes that her energy and love for music and dance will transfer to the children that come to the sessions.

Each session takes on a different genre of music and dance. From the Roaring Twenties and the Charleston to the Marching Band sound of American Cheerleading. Teaching children many contrasting styles of dance this way will open their young minds to different rhythms and give them the opportunity to hear pieces of music they would not normally hear.
