Meet STORM 🌌—the Satellite Tracking and Orbital Rendezvous Motion simulator developed by a talented team at the University of Southampton! Designed to make satellite docking tests more affordable and accessible, this master’s project is pushing the boundaries of space engineering. We’re proud to support their mission through the RS Student Fund, helping them source key motion components and camera systems to bring their simulator to life. Incredible work from an inspiring team!

Huge congratulations to the Cranfield UIAS Team on being selected for the RS Student Fund! 🛩️✨ Their ambitious project for the IMechE UAS Challenge 2025 is focused on building an innovative hybrid eVTOL UAV capable of performing critical humanitarian aid missions. We're proud to support their journey as they take on complex challenges in design, autonomy, and delivery. Looking forward to seeing this incredible team bring their vision to life!

Congratulations to for being selected as one of the winners of the RS Student Fund! 🌊⚙️ This inspiring student team from the University of Edinburgh is developing tidal turbines to help meet the energy needs of small island developing states—focusing on sustainable, locally manufacturable solutions. We're proud to support their mission with high-performance RS components, helping bring their latest design to life. Excited to see what’s next!
From concept to competition! 🐭⚙️ We’re proud to support this brilliant student-led side project: a robotic micromouse built using custom hardware, embedded Rust, and powered by components from RS. With the aim of competing in a robot tag event hosted by Aberdeen University Robotics Society, it’s a great example of curiosity, creativity, and technical skill in action. We love seeing RS components helping bring innovative ideas to life!
