Hope all's well in your world.

I know, I know, I'm not as regular on FB as I would like, but you can catch up with my Instagram antics by following me on Rasheda Ashanti Malcolm, thanks to some of you who already do.

Now let me share some good news with you about our Handf Writersfest, which I co-founded, and which I would appreciate if you also follow.

We won the overall Business award after exhibiting at the University of West London's CLBS Enterprise Expo. It was totally unexpected, we had no idea that the students would be so impressed with our writers' festival, not to mention the judges.

Big thanks to our members who assisted me on the day.

We are overjoyed, and I hope you are pleased for us.

Life continues after personal tragedies and so must we.

I haven't been on FB much lately . . . life happens and you have to get on with it. Life Happens is one of the next novels that I'm working on. Keep a look out for it.

It's not an easy road, this entity called life. It comes with ups and downs. It throws curve balls. You encounter hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, and storms.
.. And you also encounter joy, pleasures, happiness, and feel-good times. These are the moments to live for. The love that comes at you from good-vibe folks.

I was nominated for a Civic Award from Hammersmith & Fulham Council, for my work with women and girls, for giving the borough a writer's festival which adds to the cultural fabric.

I am proud to have been recognised, sending out a big thank you to Sharon Tomlin and my writing tribe at the Macbeth H&F Adult Learning - to Maureen Sullivan - Comic at SheBu Maureen Sullivan
