We are working towards a world where everyone has equal access to ICT.

Some moments never lose their power. A young person sitting at a computer for the very first time is one of them.

Thank you to Julie Davison at Nyamboyo Technical School for sharing what that looks like on the ground. Her words capture exactly why we do this work, and why every refurbished laptop matters.

If your business has unused devices sitting in storage, get in touch. They could be the start of someone's story.

At the Green Shoots Foundation in Oddar Meanchey, Cambodia, 14 students recently sat down to write, record and edit their own short films. For some, it was the first time they'd used a laptop for anything more than browsing.

Over three weeks in February and March, students worked across the laptops we donated to the classroom, telling stories about family, friendship, evacuation during cross-border conflict, and finding their strength. The workshop was run by StoryCord, with classroom leadership from Access teachers.

This is what access to a working device can open up. Not just connection, but the chance to tell your own story in your own voice.

Since 1996, we've supplied more than 287,000 refurbished devices to charities, NGOs and schools around the world, helping connect 14.75 million+ people to the skills, services and opportunities a working device unlocks.

And by giving technology a second life through our partners, we've prevented 30.2 million kg of CO2e from entering the atmosphere.

Behind every number is a learner, a teacher, a healthcare worker, someone who now has the tools to take their next step.

If your organisation has redundant IT or you'd like to support our work, we'd love to hear from you.

This is one of the most common questions our IT disposal team gets, especially during ESG reporting season.

The answer is around 20 working days from collection. In that window, every device coming through our partner Tier 1 Asset Management is data wiped, tested, refurbished where possible, and sustainably recycled if not.

You receive test reports, certificates of data destruction, and a tailored sustainability and social value report including photos and case studies, all formatted for your ESG and CSR documentation.

On average, just 9.1% of households in Sub-Saharan Africa have a computer, according to the latest data from the International Telecommunications Union.

Across the African continent, the gap widens further in rural areas, where people are 34% less likely to have internet access, and again for women, who are 12% less connected to the internet.

These are the realities we work in every day, supplying refurbished IT and digital skills training to schools, NGOs, and community organisations across more than 110 countries.
