Halcyon Sounds

During this holiday season, amongst the noise, hustle and bustle, in the quiet moments, perhaps when we feel ‘merry and bright’ is out of grasp, know all is well - even if this feels a ridiculously hollow phrase - all is well - for this is a time of feeling, contemplation, processing, of going within, being silent and still like the trees and in nature, this is the season of long dark nights. It is natural to feel reflective in moments of stillness, in between the flashing of fairy lights.

In the stillness or during quiet moments, if Teacher Sadness or Disappointment, Pain or Numbness bring us lessons we wish to drown out with noise, drink, food or busyness, know the fact that we feel these feelings means we are here and this alone is enough. We will face things and work with these Teachers when we are ready, because despite everything, every breath we breathe is a testament to our strength, our perseverance, tenacity and our light for existing right now and being here amongst it all.
