A productive meeting with Darren Paffey MP at the UK Parliament.

We had an in-depth conversation about the next joint steps to further consolidate the United Kingdom as a key ally in the restoration of democracy and the recovery of constitutional order in Venezuela, based on shared democratic values that strengthen our bilateral cooperation.

We also consider him a friend of the Venezuelan libertarian cause. It is also worth highlighting his excellent level of Spanish, something that is also reflected in the members of his team.

Very grateful to Darren Paffey and his entire team for their time, commitment and openness to dialogue.

Un encuentro muy productivo con el diputado Darren Paffey en el Parlamento del Reino Unido.

Conversamos en profundidad sobre los próximos pasos conjuntos para seguir consolidando al Reino Unido como un aliado fundamental en la restauración de la democracia y la recuperación del orden constitucional en Venezuela, basados en valores democráticos compartidos que fortalecen la cooperación binacional.

Además, lo consideramos un amigo de la causa libertaria venezolana. Cabe destacar también su excelente nivel de español, algo que igualmente caracteriza a los miembros de su equipo de trabajo.

Un incontro molto produttivo con il deputato Darren Paffey al Parlamento del Regno Unito.

Abbiamo discusso in modo approfondito dei prossimi passi congiunti per consolidare ulteriormente il Regno Unito come un alleato fondamentale nella restaurazione della democrazia e nel ripristino dell’ordine costituzionale in Venezuela, sulla base di valori democratici condivisi che rafforzano la cooperazione bilaterale.

Lo consideriamo inoltre un amico della causa libertaria venezuelana. Vale anche la pena sottolineare il suo eccellente livello di spagnolo, qualità condivisa anche dal suo team.

Molto grato a Darren Paffey e a tutto il suo team per il tempo, l’impegno e l’apertura al dialogo.

Today I want to pay a special tribute to Chief Warrant Officer 5 Eric Slover, a U.S. Army helicopter pilot who was seriously wounded during the daring mission that led to the capture of Nicolás Maduro, and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honour for his bravery and sacrifice.

In Venezuela’s hardest moments is when true friends reveal themselves, and your dedication shows that even in the darkest times there are those who risk everything for the freedom of others.

I have no doubt that when Venezuela’s transition is complete, we too will give you the honours you rightly deserve for your courage and unwavering support.
Thank you for your sacrifice, your courage, and for being an example of friendship and service.

Hoy quiero rendir un homenaje especial a Chief Warrant Officer 5 Eric Slover, piloto de helicóptero del Ejército de los Estados Unidos que fue gravemente herido durante la audaz misión que culminó con la captura de Nicolás Maduro, y que recibió la Medalla de Honor del Congreso por su valentía y sacrificio.

En los tiempos más difíciles de Venezuela es cuando realmente se ven los grandes amigos, y su entrega demuestra que incluso en los momentos más duros hay quienes están dispuestos a arriesgarlo todo por la libertad de otros.

No tengo duda de que cuando la transición de Venezuela se complete, nosotras también les daremos sus correspondientes honores por su valentía y apoyo inquebrantable.

Gracias por tu sacrificio, tu coraje y por ser un ejemplo de amistad y servicio.
