I just wanted to post my piece from the recent graff battle and say thankyou to everyone who voted for me- I actually won! I have never battled before, I am about as competitive as a potato. I thought Wispa was going to beat me as she has a lot more of a social media following, but you guys who voted for me really showed me some love!

I was really moved by the story of Punch the Monkey this week, it really hit home for me- these days we are being told that art is an "extra", a "hobby" - even that artists will be replaced by A.I.

This year I've decided to choose my art over and over again, regardless of what likes it gets or how much worse it looks compared to this person or that person, or even that robot who made it in 2 seconds for no money.

Just like Punch hanging onto his manky old teddy, I'm hanging onto my art, coz it matters, for no other reason than it makes me feel free and it reminds me that I am alive, I am human and I am flawed. It's my happy place!
