Over 10 years ago, our founder John, whilst starting out in our humble beginnings, rode a motorcycle around the foothills of Kilimanjaro with one other team member.

They were collecting details of children in child labour or at risk of it through an inability to access full-time education. During one trip, he met Honest, a then primary school child.

Honest was sponsored for his education after being posted on Facebook.

Quite amazingly years later, with a team of over 260 employees at the time, John whilst out of the country facing health challenges. We employed a new vet to join the team. It was only when John returned that he recognised this vet. He was one of the thousands of children we have helped into education, and in a beautiful full circle moment, Honest, having worked hard... now works at our dog rescue shelter, Kilimanjaro Animal Rescue, which is where our founders' work of establishing full-time care for those in need began. What a beautiful story it is.

With love and gratitude from the entire Creator Share Family... without you, none of these miraculous stories would be rising from magical red soils of Tanzania 🇹🇿 🤍✝️

Tanzania's Uhuru Torch, the Freedom Torch, is one of the nation's most sacred symbols, representing freedom, equality, integrity, respect for human dignity, and peace. It was first lit at the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro on the eve of Independence Day, December 9th 1961, under the order of the Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, a flame kindled to symbolise freedom and the raising of a new nation. Since then, it has been carried through every district of Tanzania each year, saying "no" to poverty, inequality, illiteracy and disease.

This year, that flame came to us. To Eden Children's Village.

Deeply honoured and humbled that the Uhuru Torch relay chose to visit our newly opened special needs children's village in Handali, a recognition that what is happening here matters to Tanzania and its children. The event was quite a sight... With a strong military presence accompanying the political convoy, a reminder of just how seriously Tanzania holds this tradition and the weight it carries in the national conscience. The energy was extraordinary, joyful, powerful, and deeply moving for the team, children, and I.

For ... children, many of whom the world has overlooked, forgotten, or turned away from, to be seen by the nation in this way is profound. The voice and plight of children with special needs is growing louder. Visits like this amplify that voice in ways that no document or report ever could. It says: *these children count. Their lives matter. Their village is part of this nation's story.

None of this would be possible without our amazing family across the world that has made this possible. Friends, donors, supporters, people who have never met these children but love them without condition from a distance. You make this family possible. You are why Eden exists... Today, a little piece of Tanzania's history stood inside these gates for all of us. Those reading this included. 🙏🏼

Thankyou God for making the plight of our invisible children, all the more visible in the consciousness of Tanzania and beyond.

In love and gratitude always, from our ever growing Creator Share Family 🤍

It's almost impossible to comprehend that these images of joy and laughter are on the faces of children who once suffered in isolation and pain.

It's such a privilege to see that through a community thar largely found us via a YouTube channel, we have all the evidence we need to show humanity that there isn't a lack of resources on earth, but a lack of love and faith to have the capacity to act from that love.

Imagine if we arrived on a foreign planet, and we saw millions of people using resources to build bombs, explore space and own material trinkets that collect dust, as they were purchased with the hope they'd make the residents happy, fulfilled... but never did, can or will.

We'd know immediately from the perspective of a visitor that this species and world has a sickness of sorts, one that allows them to build on the foundations of suffering people and badly distributed resources.

What a blessing and privilege it is to have watched this community help change thousands of lives, bond, and form the worlds largest special needs family.

It's all the evidence humanity needs to know that if we were love centred, we'd have been building these solutions before we'd build bombs or hoard dust covered trinkets long ago. Instead, we leave these children, our family members all be it distant, without our love, time or energy even pointed towards them.

The problems we face, the suffering we see... has a solution, a factual one... and it lay in an inward change of our consciousness, love, and its expression.

Thank you for your love. You are the change humanity so desperately needs. We love you all 🤍
