Job Description/Roles and Responsibilities:

The Junior Technical Support Specialist will assist corporate and remote staff by providing quality customer service including the following duties:

-As the first point of contact, provide superior, friendly customer service to all clients.
-Maintain accurate records of completed and pending tasks.
-Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution of incidents/problems.
-Demonstrate good interpersonal skills in a professional environment.
-Handling customer technical support cases through phone and email submission.
-Updating the company website with tech tips and brief documents.

Qualifications:

-Must have some basic education and training requirements may include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, which are not necessary but may be a benefit.
-Familiarity with SQL and with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Javascript) is essential.
-Willingness to develop interpersonal and technical skills necessary for an IT Support position.
-Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
-Motivation and goal-orientation must be able to work independently and take initiative.
-Must have a desire to develop interpersonal and technical skills necessary for an IT Support position.
-Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and work in a team environment.
-Must be motivated and a self-starting individual requiring little oversight to complete tasks in a timely manner after the initial direction is provided.
-Fluency in Greek and English is essential.
-Strong communication skills.

Desired Skills:

The Junior Technical Support Specialist candidate must be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills. Writing, reading, and comprehension skills are required to provide appropriate customer support.

Bonus:

-Possessing some basic knowledge of Python will be a big plus.
-Very good knowledge of at least one of the additional languages (French, Spanish, German) will be highly desirable.
