Missed our classes today? Never mind, we’re back next week and running sessions on both Thursday and Friday. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this lovely parent review says it all: super engaging, full of instruments, and fun for grown‑ups as much as the little ones.

Come and see what all the joy is about.

A quick summer update — I’m running weekly Summer Pop‑Up Musical Miniatures sessions all through July and the first two weeks of August, so your little ones can still enjoy their musical fix even while I juggle my own childcare puzzle.

We won’t be following the usual timetable, but there’ll be one joyful session each week until we head off on our family holiday in the last two weeks of August.
Older siblings who are already on holiday are very welcome to join in, and there’s parking available at the venue too.

You can book sessions here: https://bookwhen.com/musicalminiatures

Looking forward to sunshine, songs and bubbles with you — we’re on this Friday.

A little behind‑the‑scenes moment from me… In my 'spare' time, I currently chair the PTFA, and alongside a fantastic team of parents, we’ve been busy organising this year’s Summer Fair. It’s a huge amount of work, but honestly such a joyful one — a brilliant way to see the school in a completely different light, especially if you’re thinking ahead about local school choices.

Events like this don’t just bring the community together — they make a real difference. Every pound raised goes straight back into enriching the children’s learning: from interactive whiteboards to school trips, playground improvements to creative workshops. The money raised genuinely transforms what the school can offer.

If you’re free tomorrow, come along, soak up the atmosphere, support the school, and enjoy a proper community day out. It all helps, and it all matters. 💛

What’s the “right” age for Musical Miniatures?

Honestly… if they’re tiny, curious, wiggly, wide‑eyed, or just love a good beat, they’ll fit right in.

We have babies just a few weeks old snuggled into grown‑ups, toddlers finding their rhythm, preschoolers singing their hearts out — and in the holidays, older siblings who join in with just as much enthusiasm. There’s no perfect age. It’s all about what your child enjoys.

But here’s the bit we don’t say enough:
"don’t underestimate how important it is for you to connect with others in those early stages of parenthood. "
Being in a room with other grown‑ups who get it — the tiredness, the joy, the juggle — can be grounding in a way nothing else is. And singing? It’s uplifting for us adults too. A tiny reset. A breath out. A moment of shared joy.

Come as you are, bring your little one as they are, and let’s make some music together. 💛
