Had an amazing day yesterday exploring a local nature reserve in search of the elusive kingfisher 🐦💙
I have to say, these little birds are unbelievably fast — blink and you miss them!
It was also lovely meeting some great people and spending time together in the kingfisher hide at Rye Meads Nature Reserve. The staff were really friendly too, which made the visit even better.
Definitely a place I’ll be returning to again soon!
RSPB Rye Meads
Spent some time at Rye Meads Nature Reserve and caught some incredible action from the Kingfisher hide 💙
Watching these stunning little birds dart across the water was something special — fast, vibrant, and completely captivating. Nature really puts on a show when you slow down and take it in.
Well worth a visit if you’re anywhere nearby 🌿✨

Good morning everyone 😊
Firstly, I want to apologise for being a bit quiet on here lately. Life’s been wonderfully busy as we’ve welcomed a beautiful new granddaughter into the family 👶💕—so photography has taken a bit of a back seat for a little while.
That said, I’m back with something new to share! I’ve just published a fresh blog post on my new website, all about how I captured the iconic Victorian red pillars at Blackfriars—remnants of the old Great Western Railway that once ran through London.

Chasing the first light of the day at Tower Bridge.🌅
There’s something special about a long exposure at sunrise
the way the clouds stretch across the sky, the Thames turns silky smooth, and the city slowly wakes under golden light. London never disappoints, but mornings like this feel truly
magical Patience, early alarms, and a little bit of cold air… always worth it.
What do you think of this sunrise scene?

✨ Stillness at First Light ✨
There’s something timeless about moments like this when architecture, light, and reflection align in perfect balance. This image was captured during those quiet hours when the world feels paused, and the scene becomes almost painterly in its calm.
My fine art photography is about more than documenting a place,it’s about translating mood, symmetry, and atmosphere into a visual experience that invites you to slow down and look closer.
If this piece speaks to you, I’d love for you to follow my journey, share your thoughts, or explore my growing fine art collection. Each image is created with intention, patience, and a deep appreciation for light.

✨Chasing light along the Thames.📸
I took this photo early in the evening using my polariser and filter to get a nice calm river and some streaks in the sky.
