We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the GRT Raising of the Flag event today at Luton Council.

It was truly wonderful to see so many collaborators, partners, friends, and community members come together to acknowledge, celebrate, and honour Gypsy, Roma and Traveller culture, history, and heritage, while standing in solidarity with our communities and our shared commitment to equality and inclusion.

A special thank you to Mayor Javed Hussain and Deputy Lieutenant Vinod Tailor for their inspiring and empowering speeches, as well as their continued support and advocacy over many years. Your encouragement and commitment mean a lot to us.

Last but certainly not least, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our wonderful colleagues at Luton Irish Forum. Your dedication, passion, hard work, and unwavering support played a vital role in making this event such a success. We are proud to work alongside you in promoting understanding, inclusion, and positive change.
