A long build on this fully built corsa c sri 1.8, with a turbo conversion.

The car came in as a non runner, having had the previous standalone ecu and wiring loom sold on to opt for a full custom wiring harness to match up with an ecu masters ADU dash and black series ecu as well as making a full entry level fuse box and relay board.

As per usual on a build of this sort of level it threw up so many unforseen issues we lost track, from having no viable crankshaft sensor bracket to having the wrong camshaft vernier pullies which ment it was missing a pick up.

Whilst the car was here we also replaced the very oversized battery cables, repositioned the plumbed in fire extinguisher, mounted the new mac boost solenoid, replumbed in the wastegate and replaced some abs parts to allow the car to make use of traction control & abs.

We also used our new summit racing cam degree kit to measure the valve to piston clearance so get the best efficiency put of the custom spec cams previously fitted to the engine.

The car went on to make 354hp and 288lbs feet at only 1.3bar.

This little s2 Lotus elise came in for a vehicle health check and tune to suit a modified throttle body.

Unfortunately for the cars owner, the health check uncovered a plethora of issues.

- Water ingress into the emerald ecu.
- A very poorly altered wiring harness.
- No afr input.
- Several vital sensors weren't being used.
To name a few.

After a quick chat the customer decided to replace the outdated and now irreparable emerald ecu with an ecu masters classic.

We supplied and fitted the new ecu, new genuine coil packs, bosch 315cc injectors, a whole host of genuine Lotus/MG/Rover sensors as well as rewiring the idle control valve to get it back up and running properly before taking it over to a local dyno we have use of.

After calibrating the new ecu we managed to find another 8hp as well another 18nm of torque over the previous tune, giving this 120hp n/a rover k-series over 25hp more than standard.
