The energy, determination, and commitment shown by everyone was truly inspiring to watch. You should all be so proud of your amazing achievement!

It was also great to work alongside BUKO on the day, always a pleasure working together on an event and helping make it such a success!

Today marks 81 years since Victory in Europe Day — a moment that brought hope, relief, and celebration after years of war and sacrifice.

As we remember VE Day 1945, we honour the bravery of those who served, the resilience of those at home, and the memory of all who gave so much for the peace and freedoms we enjoy today.

Eighty-one years on, their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
