Looking for something mindful to do on Monday? Have you ever wondered about joining an Art Class but not sure what to expect?
We are pleased to offer a new group in the library starting soon. Adult Community Learning are hosting a beginners art class over three sessions.
Session 1: Mindful Marks
Unwind and let go. Use a simple biro to turn chaotic scribbles into beautiful, meditative art.
Session 2: Clear Expressions
Explore a new perspective. Paint with bold acrylics on clear acetate for a layering effect that clears the mind.
Session 3: Crafted Calm
Slow down and get hands-on. Enjoy the therapeutic, tactile process of decoupage to give old jam jars a second life.
No experience or equipment needed, just bring your creativity!
Monday 13 July, Monday 20 July, and Monday 27 July from 10.30am - 12.30pm.
Booking is required, please pick up a registration form from the Hello Desk at Maldon Library.

Say Hello Essex 👋
This July, we're proud to support Essex County Council's Hello Essex campaign, celebrating the people, places and opportunities that make our county such a great place to live, visit and explore.
Across Essex, there are countless ways to get involved, discover something new and enjoy summer closer to home. From visiting your local library and exploring our country parks to attending community events, learning new skills and uncovering local history, there's something for everyone.
Throughout the month, Essex County Council will be sharing inspiration, activities and ideas to help you:
See it – discover the places and experiences that make Essex unique
Do it – try something new and get involved in your local community
Feel it – moments that bring Essex to life through events, atmosphere and experiences.
Whether you're a regular visitor or trying something new for the first time, join us in celebrating everything that makes Essex special.
