Dear beloved intelligent and loyal customers of The Battered Cod Fallowfield , As you are aware the price of raw materials have gone up by 30 to 50 to 100% and we can not absorb the losses any longer. My payments to charitable causes can not decrease as they count on our support and over 100 children are supported through you and your custom. In the last 12 months the price of fish has doubled , Oil up by 150% , even our side dishes Peas, Gravy and curry have gone up by 35%. Utility prices ( Gas up by 100% and elec.by 50%. We only had a 10% increase in our prices 6 month ago which hardly covers the above.
If circumstances do not improve by end of May we will have no choice but to increase the prices by a further 20%.
