I don't settle for scraps of approval anymore or need to be understood because I approve of and understand myself. My past self wanted to fit in, without knowing she was always destined to stand out. Ironic that ego will trick you into believing that's cocky.. what I'm learning is there's nothing more humbling or vulnerable than to stand up and take up your space and get comfortable with being misunderstood.. it's healing bloodlines and it makes the genuine connections all the richer. 💛💜
