Toot toot. That's me, blowing my own horn. 🎺🎺🎺

Sometimes I forget to. So let's fix this glaring omission. TOOT TOOT 🎺

I'm a B2B copywriter and LinkedIn marketer with a sales background. This matters more than people think, because I write for awareness and lead gen.

And it might just be your lucky day, because I've got some rare capacity opening in August if you'd like to work with me on stuff like:

✨ LinkedIn posts and newsletters for both personal profiles and company pages, to get the eyeballs of your target audiences gazing lovingly in your direction

✨ Case studies where I interview your clients and wave my good witch wand over their words = testimonials on rocket fuel

✨ Or you just want to help fuel my cocktail, skincare and gimcrack jewellery addictions, for which I'll be eternally grateful

One-off projects are welcome anytime. But retained packages are where the magic happens.

What's the one piece of content you're avoiding writing yourself or turning into AI salad? Why's it a bugbear? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

My 2026 so far as a copywriter, LinkedIn marketer and content strategist. ✍

This review feels a bit scary to share. But I'm bringing you into my Meta boardroom for a half way through 2026 debrief.

These six months have been a series of small but mighty wins, a few "What am I even doing?" moments to keep it interesting, and ploughing on in a brutal market.

In numbers, it looks like this:

πŸ™†β€β™€οΈ 392 emails sent
πŸ™†β€β™€οΈ 48 invoices raised
πŸ™†β€β™€οΈ 7 new clients
πŸ™†β€β™€οΈ 3 expired clients
πŸ™†β€β™€οΈ0 nightmares (new record)

My intentions for the rest of this year?

πŸ’« More growth content and LinkedIn newsletters for personal profiles and company pages

πŸ’« More case studies where I interview your clients and turn their words into testimonials on rocket fuel

πŸ’« More email sequences, because exceptional copy = sales - a language I understand with my sales background. No creative fluffster am I.

Don't get me wrong, I'll always welcome random one-offs alongside retained packages.

But ideally, the relationships where I genuinely understand what a client is building are the ones that reap rewards all round.

Thanks for being on this journey with me. πŸ™

What does your 2026 look like so far? Winning? Surviving? Somewhere in the middle?

ARRGGHHH. Exam season. πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“

You'll be feeling it in your bones right now if you've got children in certain age groups.

Bless you, pushing through the stress and the revision timetables sellotaped to the fridge.

It's as well they probably don't know, like we do, the pressure doesn't stop when you leave school, college or uni. Every day's a school day for the rest of your life.

I wasn't a nervous exam taker back in my English & American Studies days. More of a "let's do this, ready or not" type.

But pressure? I've wrangled it over many years, mainly out of determination to be exceptional at what I do. And one particularly grim chapter with a passive aggressive bullying boss who made the pressure a million times worse.

Well, traumatic bereavement, almost three years ago, changed all that. Nothing feels like the end of the world any more, because that's already happened. πŸ•―

I returned to studying in lockdown and LOVED it, quite possibly because I wanted to, not because I felt I had to. I racked up:

πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“ Social Media Marketing Diploma at 100%, not a single mark dropped
πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“ Copywriting for Conversion
πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“ Yoast SEO

And here's my advice if you're sitting exams right now:

πŸ‘‰Preparation is confidence
πŸ‘‰Nerves mean you care, which isn't weakness
πŸ‘‰Nothing you face today is permanent
πŸ‘‰Rest is vital for performing to your best

What's the last thing you studied, inside or outside formal education?
