Introspection is a training provider and a counselling service. We deliver training to corporate and voluntary organisations and one to one counselling.

Please take a few minutes to watch this poem about how our distress is often medicalised, individualised and pathologised. It speaks to the history of harm that can sometimes be caused by mental health diagnosis, for many people of colour and q***r people. An Excerpt: They call it ‘depression’, while you call it survival from oppression. They will feed you pills to cure social ills. Medicate injustice. Remember they once labelled runaway slaves as mentally ill for desiring freedom. Remember that they once labelled homosexuality an ‘illness’ of the mind. Healing lies at the collective not only the individual perspective. So keep feeling. Let your tears fall in protest, release your rage in revolution. Remember your tenderness packs muscle.
