Basically the Salafist dawah cult are using the tu quoque fallacy where you say, oh look your Christian scholars are saying your bibles affirm the other bibles in general even though they contain contradictions, so that's how the Qur'an is affirming the Christian bibles in general.

While you can't use the tu quoque fallacy in this case because that would be a clear contradiction, because you are claiming that the Qur'an is the only truth without contradictions and the Christian bibles are falsehood full of contradictions.

You can only use the tu quoque fallacy against the Christian bibles if for example the Christians said the Qur'an is wrong for teaching slavery is permitted, then you can say well you have no room to talk because your bibles also teach slavery is permitted.

But in this case where the Qur'an is claiming that the Christian new testament bibles are false, then it would be a contradiction if the Qur'an used the Christian new testament bibles to justify what the Qur'an is teaching.

It would be a clear contradiction to say that the Christian new testament bibles are false and contradictory and then at the same time take credit for it's teachings or take credit from it's teachings.
