As well as an actor Ninmoy was also a passionate, well published photographer with numerous exhibitions and publications to his name.

I am always looking out for candid shots, especially of the bride. As the subject is unaware of the photo being taken they will inevitably have a natural, unguarded, and flattering smile.

These opportunities happen frequently at weddings and when guests are chatting in small groups, the heads and shoulders of others can help to frame the subject and provide context.

Colourful confetti! After priming the congregation outside the church, I took 10 or 12 shots in a row as the newlyweds were welcomed by the waiting guests.
