We do not have air conditioning in our studio. At least not yet. As England continues to become the new Spain, we will likely make that move at some stage.

What we do now is go to the shop early when it's hot. We open the doors and windows, we get our high-powered fans running, and we cool things down. Our new lighting is dimmable and emits no heat, so the studio stays really nice.

We've had several positive comments about how nice it is in the shop -- a great escape from the heat.

We'll welcome you, let you choose your pieces, give you a short overview, and get out of your hair so you can chill and create. There are ambient rock n roll tunes in the background, and we'll bring you a lovely coffee or tea if you like.

We book in 2-hour slots, but it's a no-rush ethos ... we only cast an eye to the clock if someone's booked your table after you.

This Sunday we will wrap up sharpish at 5:30 to get our in-house Geeze to the pub -- if he doesn't have a Guinnes by 6 he turns into a pumpkin! 😮🍺

We tend to fill up during school hols even when weather is decent, so book if ya can.

HALF TERM ALERT

Our studio is never more joyously busy with painters than during school breaks.

Twice recently, I have posted advising our lovely customers to book early for the 26th - 29th of May to make sure they can get in for a session.

You can imagine how silly I feel now having learned that our booking system had a glitch preventing anyone from booking any time other than 10 AM for next week 🙈🙃!!!

You can now book any time available in a rolling window from 10 AM to 3:45 PM -- though many of the 10 AM slots are gone 🤣

What a fun week we've just had! 🎉

We've hosted a hen party, a local group of Guides, a baby shower, several family bookings, and a Saturday night Paint & Sip! 🥂🎨

The studio has been full of chilled out creativity and easy smiles. We've seen some amazing keepsakes crafted and really enjoyed meeting many new customers.

Come and see us soon! We've got plenty of space for walk-ins or bookings through Friday (22/5).

We'll be CLOSED this Sunday (24/5) and as we normally are on Monday (25/5).

But we will be OPEN on Tuesday (26/5) to welcome painters during half-term.

The next 2 paint & sip dates (5/6 and 19/6) are sold out with a few people on the waitlist -- don't hesitate to add yourself if you fancy it as people do sometimes need to cancel and we'd love to work you in.

We offer painting sessions in 2-hour blocks with no fee to book, a massive 120+ piece selection of unpainted options, top quality paints/brushes, and a selection of hot/cold drinks and pre-packaged snacks for sale.

We return your finished piece in a week or less.

All ages and abilities welcome. You don't need artistic skill to enjoy this activity or to create something special.
