My Promise to You
I believe Manchester is the beating heart of the UK’s economy. We are the innovators, the builders, and the soul of the North. But a heart cannot beat for the benefit of everyone if its people are being left behind.

I am standing because:

I cannot report online as it's asking me to pay for a small bin which isn't what the residents need.

I have asked for a local councillor's support until I represent the good and faithful of Longsight.

Looks like the main party's also ask for the support of the public even if you're not a member of the party.

I look forward to stepping out of my house in the run up to the 2026 local elections but only asking for you voluntary campaigning and community feedback support as I plan to improve Longsight and Manchester in the next local elections.

Despite being able to get 10 nomination signatures to stand in the general election as an independent candidate, I was unable to raise a £500 deposit to submit my nomination papers by the deadline 4:00p.m. today.

I would like to thank everyone that supported me as I tried to become an independent candidate for the UK general election. I will now focus my efforts on the 2026 local elections for my ward of Longsight.

Good morning all, my nomination papers are now complete and I am ready to stand as an independent candidate across Denton, Gorton, Abby Hey, Levenshulme, Longsight and Burnage.

The last piece of the puzzle is a £500 refundable deposit if I'm able to gain 5% of the share at the next election on the 4th of July would be returned. This deposit is paid to the election office at the council.

As an independent candidate, this deposit isn't supported by a party is supported by the candidate or a sponsor from a local business.

Like many people who I'm trying to represent the cost of living crisis is often the main focus of my thoughts in the morning. Having been hit hard by the cost of living crisis myself in May I moved home with my mum to consolidate our costs.

If you are a local business owner within the new garden and denting constituency and would consider supporting this deposit fee, it would be greatly appreciated if you could reach out via a personal message.

Greener more sustainable policies to decrease deterioration of air quality will save the country billions according to a recent NHS study.

As a Net Zero advocate, I will support policies which accelerates the transition to clean vehicles which will increase the quality of air that you, your families and future generations will breathe.

A fantastic use of public funds, but often we don't see enough of this free publicly available active lifestyle equipment. As your MP for Gorton and Denton, if elected at this next general election, I will ensure that Andy Burnham gets the trail the blazer deal. He needs to pump cash into the public spaces of greater Manchester to increase the amount of free publicly available. Active lifestyle equipment is available for you to live an active and healthy lifestyle without the costs of gym memberships or personal trainers.

As an independent candidate the campaign will be an up hill struggle but by focusing my efforts on addressing the concern you share with me I will be your voice in the house of commons. I will be your public servant to ensure your voices and concerns are heard just as Sir Gerald Kaufman did.
