Driffield project manager hails PPE for women campaign success 09/12/2025

A major change is happening in clothes for safety in the workplace, where the standard will be personal protective equipment (PPE) for women, which is made to fit properly.

The campaign by Robinson has brought forward the launch of a British Standard, which stresses that every worker should receive PPE that fits them, rather than the norm of design, which has historically been based on 'average man' sizes.

With research indicating that 46% of British women say they have received ill-fitting PPE, this will make a significant difference to safety and comfort across disciplines such as construction, healthcare and policing, with the reality that women also work on site.
