Today's student spotlight is on Kimberley Murphy at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust 🔦

When we asked Kimberley about the impact of the apprenticeship, she shared that it has given her "the confidence and knowledge it has given me to progress my career" - which is exactly what we love to hear!

She went on to add: "Through the programme, I developed a broader understanding of operations management and gained practical skills that I can apply in my role on a daily basis. Completing the apprenticeship also demonstrated my resilience and determination. After starting the programme in November 2022 and having a two-year break, I was able to return, pick up where I left off, and successfully complete it."

It's always fantastic to see this level of resilience in Damar apprenticeships, and to see that a pause in learning doesn't have to mean the end of a journey; it can actually lead to a final distinction!

Reflecting on his apprenticeship journey, Rory shared:

"The biggest impact the apprenticeship had on me was that I am now more comfortably able to apply the knowledge that I have, and understand my obligations under my professional regulations, I think the most impactful skill I discovered was being able to research legal matters as this will assist me greatly in my role."
