On 28th November 2025, SUBU’s Board of Trustees decided to call a referendum on SUBU’s affiliation to NUS UK📢
Students were asked: “Should SUBU disaffiliate from NUS UK?”
Quoracy for this vote was not met and therefore a conclusion could not be drawn.
Vote breakdown:
Yes votes: 57.41%
No votes: 42.59%
Abstain: 0%
As the Referendum was called by the SUBU Trustee Board, the results will be referred back to them for their attention. We'll keep you updated on next steps👀
