The PAT Man

I had a missed meeting with The Grim Reaper earlier. I went to pull a plug out of it's socket earlier, ready to PAT test an appliance. The top of the plug came off in my hand, and I hadn't switched it off at the wall beforehand. So my little pinkies were millimetres away from touching the fuse or live terminal/cable.
I'll definitely be switching off at the wall first in future.
It was in a Youth Club too, so luckily a child didn't get killed. We take electricity for granted every day.
