Hi everyone fans as you know I’m not crafting anymore but I have a few customers asking how I am. So thought I’d let you know what’s being keeping me busy.
After having my leg amputated in July I’ve being working really hard learning how to walk with a prosthesis and also learning to RUN!!!

Before my accident I was massively into running and exploring the beautiful countryside and moors. So it’s being really important to get my mobility back to a level where I can confidently do this again.

I’m currently helping a friend fund raise for an activity leg that she has to self fund. I decided a fitting way to do this was to train and complete my first parkrun as an amputee. I’ve managed to get to 2.5 miles and on Saturday I will be at the start line of my local parkrun in Middlesbrough.

Running isn’t easy now, I’ve got so much metal work holding me up on the right and my trusty prosthetic leg on my left, but running is in my blood.
