St Martin's Middlesbrough

The last time John Day was with us he prayed a blessing on our newly created children’s area where they have their Sunday Kids Group.

We’re looking forward to having John back with us this Sunday at 10:30am. He will be speaking about the story of Lydia from Acts 16

Recently Ray and Chris were readmitted as Churchwardens by Archdeacon Amanda to serve for another year. We’re so grateful to Chris and Ray for all their hard work (both seen and unseen) to make St Martin’s run smoothly. We’re thankful to God that Chris and Ray are willing to take on this big responsibility on our behalf. Thank you for all you do Chris Greenwood & Raymond Farnaby

Tomorrow Sam (our Minister) is attending Anything is Possible hosted by Close-Knit Families and the North East Child Poverty Commission.

The event is focused on tackling child poverty across Tees Valley. Given that our parish serves the people of Newport - which has the heart-breaking statistic of 85% of children growing up in poverty - we are keen to learn how we can play our part in working to change this.
