When materials reach the end of their life, refurbishment can be an opportunity to refresh a space as well as repair it.

For Athelis, we recently reupholstered changing room doors after the original material became unavailable. Rather than patching individual sections as we had done previously, a full refresh was the best option.

Skai Soroma Fango was used in the male changing rooms and Skai Soroma Birch in the female changing rooms, both supplied by Malone Fabrics.

Multiple pieces reupholstered in Spradling Chronos vinyl, finished in a bold cayenne colourway to align with the brand, complete with embroidered sleeves for a premium finish.

We also tackled missing rollers across the equipment, manufacturing replacements and securing them with custom 3D-printed plates due to limited availability.
