May 2nd Nottingham Against Transphobia will be taking part in the Trade Union Council’s May Day march and rally. Join us and other allied unions in celebrating workers’ rights and fighting the expansion of the far right.

NAT ARE PROTESTING AGAIN AND ITS TIME TO MASK UP

1pm tomorrow (Sunday 22nd) NAT and those who fight for justice will assemble at Biran Clough statue

We’re protesting against the high court ruling at would allow employers to ask trans women to use gender neutral bathrooms

We must not accept a return to segregation

We advise you to:

· Cover your face as best you can

· Wear something that covers your eyes

· Turn off location tracking on your phone

· Check your camera settings to make sure its not recording location data

· Travel to and from the protest in groups

· Bring water, snacks and clothing appropriate for the weather

· If you are approached by someone with a camera don’t react, boring footage is worthless to them

· Camly point them out to a marshal, they’ll be wearing high vis

· Be on the lookouts for flat caps, the overwhelming majority of agitators at NAT protests have been lonely older men. They almost uniformly wear the hat from their favourite TV

· Have fun and be yourself

Today the high court ruled transgender people have a legal right to use the bathroom that aligns with their gender.

Except employers must provide segregated spaces unless they’re individually lockable rooms

We cannot let segregation return to British politics

Noone should be born with fewer rights
