Starting over in your 50s is scary. You feel lost, scared. You wonder if it’s, too late, are you too old, will I ever be loved again, will I ever find love again, where do I go from here. So many questions and some much fear. But it’s fear of the unknown…..if we keep showing up and taking small steps to build a new life, one that is totally of our own design then that unknown becomes more ‘familiar’ and we can seek comfort in that. You can build something again, start a new chapter. It’s not too late. You haven’t failed. Life is just ‘different’ and that can be exciting. What are you afraid of?? Is it failing, looking silly, being judged. Well so what….you can’t fail unless you try….someone will always think you look silly…and you’ll always be judged so just get out there and do it anyway.
