Sojo Animation

I started animating children’s thoughts and art 13 years ago. My research was focused on encouraging creativity while avoiding manipulating. I was obsessed (and still am) with allowing space to follow a child’s creative impulses.

This was the first of 100s of animations I would go on to make, powered by the imaginations of little ones.
This brilliant 4 year old (who happens to be my youngest child) took us down a beautifully dark tunnel with this intricate thought path.

I will always love this animation. It marks the start of a new chapter in my life, the birth of my business, Sojo Animation, which still feels like a passion project but somehow pops food on the table.
