Ever wondered how heart attacks really get treated? Want to see a glimpse of the life as a cardiologist?

CardioThoracics has the answer!!

The consultants over at the Royal Derby Hospital have kindly offered to take students for experience in the catheter lab, working alongside them to see what it's really like! From treating heart attacks to putting in stents, this is YOUR chance to see it all.

Whether you're first year, final year, or just want to see it again, feel free to get involved!!

The dates available are:

Wednesday 25th April 9am-1pm

and

Thursday 10th May 9am-1pm

If you're interested, please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible as places will go fast, and it's a first come first serve basis!! Specify your name, year of study, and which date you would like to attend.

It goes without saying, you should endevour not to miss scheduled teaching for this. Your NHS ID card is MANDATORY, please bring it along, and you will need to organise transport to the hospital.
