As the Branch Black Members’ Officer, I personally wanted to take this opportunity to inform our Black Members and Allies of the upcoming Black History Month (BHM) celebration on Monday, 17th November 2025.

Black History Month celebration 2025 theme is “Standing Firm in Power and Pride,” a powerful tribute to the resilience, strength and unwavering commitment to progress that defines Black communities globally. (blackhisotrymonth.org.uk)
We are planning speakers, presenters, cultural performers, and a light lunch. Our Unison NUH Branch is among the sponsors and will host an information stall.

Are you interested in joining us for a day of BHM Celebration? The event is Free to Register, Free Refreshments with Registration via Eventbrite with all details. We have limited capacity in Sherwood Hall, so booking early is advisable. We hope to see you there:
