Caffe Velo Verde

Enjoy the Summer vibe with a guided walk from Caffe Velo Verde, taking place on Friday 31st July from 10am.

The walk will be our seasonal route, an 8 mile loop down to the River Trent and back, which is one of the cafe’s promoted walks.

The walk will leave from Caffe Velo Verde following public footpaths on a loop around Screveton, through Car Colston over the A46, down to the Trent and returning via Kneeton. We will be taking in the beautiful local countryside, enjoying the joys of nature, a natter and generally giving our minds & bodies a welcome uplift. The walk will be circa 7.5/8 miles with a couple of steep inclines and led at a medium pace.

The walk will head off from the cafe at 10am, (arriving back at the cafe between 13:00 & 13:30) so a great opportunity to arrive at the cafe for breakfast beforehand and/or a scrumptious lunch afterwards. Please ensure you have plenty of water on board and maybe a snack from the cafe to keep you going. The walk will be led by Tim, one of our regular walking ‘porridge eaters’!

There will be no charge for the guided walk, but any donations to FarmEco Community Care Farm would be very much appreciated.

We don’t know who he/she belongs to. Please if anyone recognises them can you let the owners know it’s enjoying the vibe down at CVV - but we’d really like to make sure it gets home safe and sound ☺️

We are looking for an ambitious individual to work in our fast paced kitchen. This is not a summer position but rather a role for someone looking for regular part time hours.

Some kitchen experience would be invaluable, or alternatively a keen eye for detail, cleanliness and presentation standards.
