New Placebo-Controlled Study of Inhaled Pirfenidone in Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis The Sponsor is developing AP01 (also referred to in this document as the “study drug”) for use in the treatment of Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis. AP01 is an experimental drug that may slow your PPF symptoms. You will inhale the study drug using the eFlow Nebuliser System.

Day 11 of our 12 days of Christmas at NRRU:
We tried desperately to somehow fit one of the numbers to this but alas we couldn't but fortunately Dr. Lim still gets a day dedicated to himself. Dr. Wei Shen Lim worked on COVID-19 and advised the UK government during the pandemic for which he greatly deserves his honorary knighthood.

Day 10 of our 12 days of Christmas at NRRU:
Day 10 is for for the year we opened our research unit. On the 9th of June 2010 we opened our doors for the first time. We still have some of our founding members of staff including Tina, Norma, Katherine and Hellen and we're ever evolving and improving.

Day 8 of our 12 days of Christmas at NRRU:
Day 8 is for our 8 COPD studies opened this year lead by Prof. Charlotte Bolton and Dr. Sam Kemp. Our C-FIND study is the first of its kind in Nottingham to utilise the mobile research unit. The study researches whether a lung check, done in the community using a mobile clinical area, of people at risk of COPD is acceptable and useful.
