Diesel services available at AAH Engineering LTD.

A customer was reporting a overheating/ coolant pressurisation issue on a Mustang skid steer (Yanmar 4TNV). After a quick block test we confirmed that exhaust gasses where entering the engines cooling system.

We removed the cylinder head to find a failed cylinder head gasket. Also the cylinder head failed our pressure test. A genuine cylinder head gasket and refurbished head was refitted to the engine block to complete the repair. We also completed a full service and health check on the machine.

A new perkins engine has been fitted to a manitou telehandler to replace an engine with a cracked block. A new engine was chosen to keep machine downtime to a minimum, the old engine is going to be rebuilt so the customer has a spare for there machinery fleet.

That spells the end of another productive week at AAH Engineering.

🔧 Leaking oil cooler gasket replaced on a SDMO generator running a John Deere engine

🔧 Cutting out fault assessed on another SDMO generator running a volvo engine. The fault was due to a faulty fuel level sender unit, which was diagnosed reading the resistance value again the data sheet for the sender unit.

🔧 A worn out drive system overhauled on a 5.2m pehaka vertical bandsaw, new bearings, seals and brake pads
