Join us for a hands-on workshop that puts a creative spin on a traditional weaving technique.

Using small weaving frames, you’ll create your own unique woven piece to take home. Guided by an experienced practitioner, you’ll learn the basics of weaving with scrap textiles and yarn, exploring form and colour while working with materials that are often overlooked.

😍 The wait is over – our new exhibition Vennels: Perth's Little Streets is open! 😍

Step into Perth’s past this summer as our brand-new exhibition 'Vennels: Perth’s Little Streets' explores the hidden closes, lanes and alleys that have shaped the city for centuries.

Discover what everyday life was like in medieval Perth, from the bustling trades to the people who once lived and worked in these winding streets. The exhibition also connects past and present, tracing the network of vennels that still influence the character of the city today. As you explore, look out for five newly commissioned public artworks inspired by Perth’s rich craft heritage, appearing across the city centre over the coming months.

Vennels: Perth’s Little Streets was developed in collaboration with UNESCO Perth City of Craft and Folk Art.
