🚨 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 – 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗺𝗴
We have been advised of a medication alert affecting a batch of 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗺𝗴 tablets, manufactured by 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗫 𝗟𝘁𝗱.
Sertraline is used to treat depression, anxiety disorders and related mental health conditions.
The affected batch number is: 𝗩𝟮𝟱𝟬𝟬𝟰𝟮𝟱
The issue is that some packs of 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗺𝗴 tablets may contain blister strips of 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝟰𝟬𝗺𝗴 tablets. This batch is being recalled as a precautionary measure.
Patients who have been prescribed 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗺𝗴 are asked to check their medication as soon as possible.
Please check the batch number, which is stamped on the outside of the carton. If your carton shows batch number 𝗩𝟮𝟱𝟬𝟬𝟰𝟮𝟱, please then check that the blister strips inside the carton are labelled 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗺𝗴.
𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗺𝗴:

Please contact the pharmacy that dispensed the medication to you in the first instance, and return all remaining tablets to that pharmacy.
If you have accidentally taken Citalopram instead of Sertraline, your body may not be accustomed to it and you may experience side effects such as nausea, headache, sleep changes or mild anxiety.
