Thrive Perth Meadows

In our preschool room the staff have been very busy creating a book nook. This is a designated area for a calm reading experience along with group times and a place to relax and unwind when necessary. Each month the children discuss their favourite book which gets displayed on their board. Also featuring in the book nook is the colour monster, the colour monster is used all throughout the nursery to support with emotional regulation and supporting children to self regulate. In preschool the children have been very excited and interested in mini beasts. We have been looking after caterpillars and the children are watching and learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly and today we had a beautiful surprise of most of our caterpillars have emerged from their cocoons and we now have beautiful butterflies 🦋

Here at Perth meadows we are so grateful for our staff team and their hard work in our setting. We have recently refurbished the staff room to ensure all staff have a welcoming and cosy place to sit and have their lunch and converse with their peers throughout the day. 🩵
