☕ Future-ready skills in action!

As part of our Futures Programme, Upper VI leavers Emma K and Jess H have been taking part in Barista Training with the amazing BLEND Coffee Lounge, Perth team in our Art Cafe this week.

From crafting the perfect coffee to learning the art of hospitality, this hands-on training is all about equipping students with valuable life and workplace skills for the future. 👏

It has been a busy and successful few weeks for Strathallan swimmers, with athletes competing in both pool and open water events 🏊🏆

During the half-term break, Soren Y competed at the Best Fest Open Water Festival in Mallorca. Racing in both the 1.5km and 7.5km events, he produced excellent performances to finish 22nd and 3rd respectively.

At the Midland District Open Water Championships, Soren Y and Lexie L both claimed bronze medals in the 2km event, while Sam C narrowly missed the podium with a strong 4th-place finish. Congratulations to all swimmers who took part.

Scottish Schools swimming Championships took place in Aberdeen where Strathallan swimmers continued to produce impressive results:

FInlay B – Gold medals in the 100m Backstroke and 200m Backstroke
Andrew L – Gold medal in the 200m Butterfly and 4th place in the 100m Freestyle
Sam C – Bronze medal in the 200m Individual Medley
Soren Y – 10th in the 200m Backstroke and 18th in the 100m Butterfly
Luke J – 10th in the 200m Backstroke and 7th in the 100m Freestyle
Logan H – 6th in the 200m Freestyle and 10th in the 100m Freestyle
Imogen J – 15th in the 100m Freestyle
Lexie L – 4th in the 200m Individual Medley

These results reflect the hard work and commitment shown by the swimmers throughout the season. Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic set of performances and for continuing to represent Strathallan with pride.
