Not only has Ross won our latest Staff Charity Draw, but he has also personally donated an additional £500, meaning Penumbra Mental Health - Hope Point Dundee will receive a fantastic £1,000 in support.

Hope Point Dundee provides free, 24/7 wellbeing support for adults experiencing emotional distress or suicidal thoughts, offering a safe, compassionate space where people can access immediate support and be connected with the services they need.

We are incredibly proud to see our team going above and beyond to support such an important cause. Together, this generous donation will help Penumbra continue providing life-changing support to people when they need it most.

Celebrating 40 Years of Service 🎉

Today, we had the privilege of recognising a truly remarkable milestone as our Fabricator, Andy McIntyre, celebrated 40 years of service with Sidey.

Forty years is an incredible achievement. Over those four decades, thousands upon thousands of windows and doors have passed through Andy's hands, each one benefiting from his skill, care, and attention to detail.

Those who know Andy will also know that his contribution goes far beyond the products he has made. He has shared his knowledge generously, helping to train, coach and mentor many colleagues over the years. His experience, support, and willingness to help others have left a lasting impact on the people around him and on the company as a whole.

At a presentation held to mark the occasion, attended by our Production Management Team and Supervisors, Sidey’s Operations Director, Ewan Lindsay thanked Andy for his dedication, loyalty, and the enormous contribution he has made to Sidey over the last 40 years.

In true Andy fashion, he spoke warmly about his time with the company and the friendships he has built along the way, expressing his appreciation for his colleagues, supervisors, managers, and Sidey itself. It was a reminder that while careers are measured in years, they are really defined by the people we work alongside and the relationships we build.

Andy was genuinely touched by the gift from the company and shared that he and his wife are looking forward to enjoying it together.

Andy, thank you for your hard work, your craftsmanship, and for everything you have given to Sidey over the past four decades. It has been a privilege to have you as part of the Sidey family, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment and friendship.
