It is with great sadness that we report the death of Welsh singing legend Bonnie Tyler, who has sadly died at the age of 75 ❤️

Born Gaynor Hopkins in Skewen, South Wales, Bonnie became one of the most recognisable voices in popular music, thanks to her distinctive husky vocals and a string of unforgettable hits. She first found international success with "It's a Heartache" before conquering charts around the world with the iconic "Total Eclipse of the Heart" in 1983, followed by classics including "Holding Out for a Hero, Lost in France and Making Love (Out of Nothing at All)" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Across a career spanning more than five decades, Bonnie Tyler sold millions of records, earned multiple Grammy nominations and represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013. She continued recording and touring well into recent years, remaining hugely popular with audiences across Europe 🎙👱🏼‍♀️

Bonnie Tyler passed away in hospital in Portugal following complications from a recent illness, with her family confirming the news today 😔

The Minister for Equalities and International Development, Simita Kumar MSP - Edinburgh South Western, visited the Centre for Inclusive Living Perth and Kinross (CILPK) today, where she met with staff, members and CareSound Radio to hear how CILPK is helping make Perth & Kinross a more inclusive and accessible place .

A particular highlight of the visit was the Toilets Around Perth campaign, which aims to identify, map and evaluate public toilet facilities across the city, making it easier for everyone to access safe, usable toilets when they're out and about 🚾

At CareSound Radio, we're proud to work with CILPK, helping to share stories that raise awareness, champion accessibility and celebrate the voices of disabled people across our community 🤗
