Cute baby swallows 🐦 in a mud nest.

Swallows and house martins build mud nests. Unfortunately, messy mud nests under the eaves and on the house, and the bird mess from them, aren’t liked by everyone, especially above windows and patios.

Monster wasps spotted today! Look at the size of that ‘stinger’ at the end of the body 😱

This is a completely harmless Wood Wasp though. That ‘stinger’ is just a sharp tube that the female wasp uses to lay her eggs inside wood, normally pine.

Our customer called us because they thought they had a wasp nest in Cupar to get rid of, but we explained that the wasps won’t hurt you and these wasps don’t have wasp nests that will attack you.
