Another fabulous day at The Barrie Box Farm Shop yesterday! 🌞

We were so busy from the moment we opened until we sold out that, once again, there wasn’t a chance to take any photos! So, I’ve pinched this one from The Barrie Box’s page… and to be fair, those strawberries deserve the spotlight anyway! 🍓 They were absolutely fantastic. I bought some to take home, but yet again not a single one actually made it that far! 😅

A huge thank you to the whole team at The Barrie Box for having us back again. We always love coming along.

And, as always, thank you to everyone who stopped by our trailer. The lovely comments about our food really do make all the hard work worthwhile. We can’t wait to see you all again soon! ❤️

Scottish Game Fair 2026 ✔️

Well… that’s another GWCT Scottish Game Fair done and dusted! What a weekend! 🤩

Firstly, a massive THANK YOU to every single one of you who stopped by. We loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting lots of new ones too. The best part? So many of you came back on Saturday and Sunday to tell us how much you enjoyed your purchases. Safe to say, that absolutely made my weekend! ❤️

By Sunday our fridge was looking a little sorry for itself… a few lonely packs hanging on for dear life… but you lot still managed to nearly clear us out! We honestly couldn’t have asked for better support.

Now, let’s talk about The Bosses…

They had an absolute blast learning to make venison meatballs and homemade flatbreads with Daniella. I think we can all agree the next logical step is getting them making flatbreads for the food trailer! 😂 If enough of you comment saying they should, maybe we can persuade them. (No promises… they’re tougher negotiators than Farmer D!)

A huge well done to our girls. They’ve worked incredibly hard. What most people see is the three days at the show, but they don’t see the weeks of preparation, the early mornings, the late nights and all the jobs that happen behind the scenes.

Truth be told, they’ve been doing this since they were two weeks old. ❤️

Who remembers the days of seeing them asleep in the pram at the markets while we served customers? Fast forward a few years and they’re now helping cook, serve and chat to customers. Where has that time gone?

Right… before I end up scrolling through old photos and getting all emotional, I’d better get our fridges packed up!

Thank you all once again for supporting our little family business . Every purchase, every chat and every recommendation means more than you’ll ever know.

Now… who’s ready to start convincing The Bosses they’re on permanent flatbread duty? 😉😂
