⛳️ Longest Day Golf Challenge ⛳

📍 Strathallan Centenary Golf Course

This Sunday, I will tee off at the crack of dawn with colleagues from Strathallan School as we take on the Longest Day Golf Challenge. We are aiming to raise vital funds for two of the school’s chosen charities: My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Challenge:

⛳ 100 holes of golf
⏰ 4:00am tee off, finishing around 5:00pm
🎽 Funky outfits by Royal & Awesome to keep spirits high
💚 Goal: Raise as much as we can for two fantastic causes

Throwback Thursday ⛳️

Every once in a while, you need to carry out some essential maintenance to the golf studio ⛳️🛠️🪚 Especially now it’s 2 years old 😱 Time to get the team back together! 🙌🏻

Making the most of the Summer Holidays, myself and LSJ (Lee Shand Joinery) decided to remove the studio padding to improve their fixings and adhesive to hold them in place. It was a slightly bigger task than first anticipated and while we were at it, we decided to take down the screen to improve its tension to remove the sagging. Took a few attempts, but we finally got there!

It takes a bit of a ‘battering’ throughout the year, with over 120,000 balls hit into the screen in 2024. Wonder what jobs I will line up for 2025…

Sometimes your office just needs a little tidy up… 😍
