Exciting news 🧠 Our CEO Sarah Turner is speaking at MAAFIM 2026 in Malaysia this August.

Her session: “Brain Longevity and Health Sovereignty,” on how light therapy helps keep your brain sharp as you age.

She’s sharing the stage with some brilliant minds too. Swipe to meet them 👉

For many neurodegenerative conditions, symptoms show up in the gut years before they ever reach the brain. 🧠

That is not a coincidence. It is the gut-brain axis at work, and it changes how we should be approaching brain health.

When the gut lining breaks down, the tight junctions holding gut cells together loosen. That allows bacterial byproducts and inflammatory metabolites to leak into the bloodstream, where they travel to the brain and trigger neuroinflammation that disrupts cognition, mood, and neurological health.

Our CERA System was built with two panels, not one.

The gut panel targets the abdomen directly. Near-infrared light has been shown to improve tight junction protein expression, helping reseal the gut barrier, while supporting the mitochondrial energy that gut lining cells need to maintain their structure and function. A stronger barrier means fewer inflammatory metabolites reaching the bloodstream, and fewer reaching the brain.

The brain panel works the same way, supporting cellular energy and helping lower neuroinflammation where it ultimately lands.

Targeting the gut is not a side approach to brain health. It is one of the most direct ways to reduce the inflammatory load reaching the brain in the first place. That is why CERA pairs a soft gut pad with the headband, addressing the root system, not just the destination.

What if the most overlooked step in protecting your brain has been sitting in your gut all along?

Aging doesn’t have to mean bloating, discomfort, and feeling less like yourself. Marion is proof. 🌿

After 45, a lot changes quietly. Gut-brain communication weakens. Motility slows. And the cells lining your digestive tract gradually lose the energy they need to do their job properly. The result? Bloating that feels like it comes out of nowhere, and never quite goes away.

What most people don’t realise is that this starts at the cellular level. And that’s exactly where the CERA System works.

CERA System uses red and near-infrared light and delivers targeted light directly to the mitochondria, the powerhouses inside your cells. When those cells have the energy, digestion moves more smoothly, gut-brain signals flow more freely, and the inflammation that drives bloating begins to ease.

For Marion, less bloating was just the beginning. ✨

Is neurodegeneration really just a brain problem? 🧠

The research says no.
Conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s have always been treated as diseases of the brain alone. But the gut-brain axis is now recognized as one of the major pathways through which gut health influences the entire body, not just the brain.

Gut-derived inflammatory signals and microbial metabolites can cross the blood-brain barrier and contribute to neuronal damage, and the vagus nerve is the main pathway carrying those signals between the two organs. When that communication breaks down, the body is no longer one connected system. The signal between gut and brain gets disrupted, and inflammation has a clearer path forward. 🌿

CERA supports that exact connection. Abdominal photobiomodulation works by improving gut barrier integrity and influencing brain function through gut-mediated pathways, with mechanisms converging on enhanced mitochondrial energy, vagal nerve activation, and reduced inflammatory signaling. The gut panel targets one end of that axis. The headband targets the other.

When the connection itself is supported, the gut and brain go back to functioning as the single communicating system!
